Recurring themes from public Reddit threads, checked 21 Oct 2026. Short quotes, linked to the source. These are individual experiences, not a verdict.
Often praised
- Careful packing and good prices on less common plants
- Mystery boxes are popular, and refunds were given for dead plants
Common complaints
- Common plants are pricier than big-box stores
- Recent (Dec 2025 to Feb 2026) reports of missing items, winter losses and slow replies
"Fast, careful packing, really good quality plant." u/cupcakes0220, r/houseplants, Dec 2022, source
"It’s insanely expensive for common plants" u/Brotox123, r/houseplants, Dec 2022, source
"Absolutely no winter protection in the box, despite the fact I paid for it." u/andrewmunsell, r/houseplants, Dec 2025, source
Who it suits
Good reports on packing and less common plants, but recent winter and service complaints. Always photograph a delivery as you unbox it, because the guarantee claim usually needs photos.
