Tree-shaped houseplants for floors and corners, matched to your light.

An indoor tree is the plant that changes a room, and the one most often bought for the wrong light. Fiddle-leaf figs, olive trees and crotons need a bright window; money trees, dracaenas and parlor palms cope with less. Choose the light first, then the look.
